The Boy who Lived for Him

Harry smiled briefly, but noticed the look on Draco’s face. It was an expression of annoyance. Harry cleared his throat. “You came?” he said in surprise. Draco didn’t say anything. There was a silence between them as the words sank into Harry’s mind. “Then... why dd you agree to meet me here?” he asked and Draco laughed softly, surprising Harry again. This laughter was unlike the daunting laugh that he always heard come from Malfoy. It was calming and it made Harry smile.
“I don’t understand it myself. I wasn’t going to come. I told myself that I hated you and would never forgive you for all that you have done to me,” he said, placing his hand briefly on his stomach where Harry had unintentionally tore him apart not too long ago. Draco glared up at him. “But I couldn’t stop thinking about you...So I decided to come. And as I waited here for you, I grew more and more impatient. I wanted you to get here. I wanted…” Draco looked up at him. “I wanted to see you.”
