It was like a waking dream.
Was he asleep? Had he fallen into some cruel daydream? After all, it was easy to drift away under the canopy of rosy twilight that seemed to turn the normally drab schoolyard into a vivid garden. The kind of place Sasuke had always dreamed he'd have his first kiss... He could hardly keep his eyes open, but he dare not close them for fear of waking. He only wanted to sink deeper and deeper into this fantasy. Deeper and deeper into Naruto's arms. Deeper. He gripped Naruto's shoulder.
